Well lets see. I got up at 1:30 am Thurs morning to catch a 5:30am flight out of Orlando to then drive 2.5 hours to the project site, complete a site walk, take a short nap, get back up to work, go back to bed to get up early to go back to work, drive back 2.75 hours in the rain to the airport for a flight at 5:40pm and then get home at 3am to get back up and work the next day.

So yea, when I read this at some hour in the afternoon I thought, hmm the day must have ended early for some reason.

Cuz all I know is today is finally Sunday and I didn't have to work.

Glad to read everyone had a good time. Nice job Brian on replicating some of the ATL National Tour course.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

darn I wish I knew about it. I need to get out of the house and actually use my car lol. I can never keep track of when the dates are for Brooksville AutoX events. If I knew the schedule I would probably attend them all.

I gave my tires an inspection yesterday, knowing that they were toward the end of their life... I guess they really were! Brooksville had the last bit of life removed... actually, these have a ton of runs on them.

Got to give props to a cheap Harbor Freight tire changer. New (used) set was on in under an hour. That cheap tire changer has paid for itself several times over. I did not think it would be any good for the race tires, but it works fine. NOT recomended for fancy rims, but fine for steel wheels.

I know it is there but I am computer illiterate There are like a million different classes or organizations to look through and figure out. ADHD kicks in hard core and I end up getting mad because I can't just find a list of Brooksville dates/events and what it takes to enter.

That's the most comprehensive area schedule you'll find. Classing and stuff is irrelevant unless you're going to get serious into competition. Every club has different classing rules, but there's not a single one of them that will turn you away if you show up with a safe car. All you need to do is figure out how to register, and it's not that hard. Links to the club websites are right there in that same thread. If you're looking for somebody to make it easier than that... you'll probably be waiting a long time.
