Default Track Event

I was wondering how much it would approximately cost to go to a road course and run ? Also I was wondering if there is any good courses here in Florida, and if so drop me a link to the website.

Default Thanks

Thank you for giving me some sources. I do have a question though. When you pay the certain amount for the so long period do they track where you finish or something like that ? or do they keep your lap times. If so can we get this information ? Thanks.

depends, but its just a good job, maybe a li'l plaque, you sound confident though, but after every race they post results, if you want to log them you can write them all down and keep them, but no ones going to do it for you

You realize he isn't talking about autocross. I don't think there are any winners at an HPDE. Maybe you can rent transponders, or have a friend use a stopwatch, or record video in your car and get lap times off that. I don't know, there are only a couple people in here who go to road courses, so you'll have to wait til they see this.

yeah, i don't think they offer official times at hpde's cause most insurance companies will not cover you if it's found the event is "timed" which might be why it's called drivers education

Entry level HPDE is definataly not "logged" or timed unless you got a buddy with a stopwatch or a camera like said. Im just getting into HPDE's with NASA and your first few will run you around $290/day and a $40 membership with NASA. Seeing the track schedule you get 3 runs per day and from what ive heard are somewhere around 25 minutes each. Once you move up to HPDE-2 it gets a bit cheaper..but for times you will always have to either rent or buy your own transponder. I guess it depends on track but most of the time you have to buy your own transponder and from nasa i think they are around
$2-300.
