Hey, Kyle. Glad you had fun. Sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you, but with 52 drivers... I was overwhelmed!

Results are posted on SunRidersAutocross.com.

Specific links:
Results by Class
Results by Time

I was missing info on 3 drivers.
#17 - no sheet - Dunno.
#18 - Danny Pearsall - no times. Did he split without running?
#39 - no sheet - I'm pretty sure this was the Faaaast Impala SS.

If anyone has any hints, lemme know.

hey loren, change the name on #13 to Danny Pearsall. my name is there and it shouldn't be. i'm the one who did not run with the red neon. i wanted to play it safe, so i left instead to have it checked out.

just in case anyone was curious about the oil burning neon, it's not a blown ring. my oil was overfilled quite a bit, about 1/2 of a quart too much. i drained the oil a little, so i'm running 1/4 quart below the max fill line now. i drove a good 100 miles to check it out with another car watching me, and there's no sign of burning oil.

yep. just explained it above.

loren: #18 Danny Pearsall is a virgin novice - VN - class driver. and right now his results (#13 Daniel Anglin) are posted in street tire -SN - novice under the wrong name. i wouldn't want to see anything be inaccurate, since i'm sure that both danny and i will be autocrossing again in the future.

Glad the car was nothing major. I think I saw it on its last run... big smoke!

Results are fixed.

For the record... just like on Who's Line Is It Anyway... "the points don't matter". We just post results to give you something to compare yourself to.

Mattback,

The irony is that after I suggested to you to stay in second, I went out and started downshifting to first! But, I still think staying in second was better for you. It allowed you to concentrate more on driving smoothly and keeping a nice line.

My best times came from staying in first for the first half of the course (bouncing the rev limiter in 3 places), and finally shifting to second for the big sweeper leading into the spiral. I downshifted back to first to exit the spiral and finish.
