Cool. My major point was that it's not normal or desirable in an autox or racing environment for a RWD car to be lifting a rear tire as Mattback's car was doing.

Yeah, your car and other stock cars might lift a front tire, but it's more common and more dramatic in the types of cars I mentioned... and Jamal's BMW.

It's more common in cars that have 55+% of their weight over the back wheels Loren....and a really stiff front swaybar

CS Spyders
ES MR2
BS MR2 turbos

the stock cars will actually lift quite a bit, mainly due to the reason that the only way they can increase front roll stiffness is to use the big front bar, and that's going to majorly limit front droop travel in a corner. A street prepared car or the like can use higher spring rates with less bar and not be lifting.

Loren...I am now a registered member of the sunriders autocross site, I will upload pics to an album within the next couple of days. I hope you guys can use them for your site or newsletter, feel free to do what ever you want with them. Also, I'll check to see if I can find some images of you driving your red miata...were you wearing a different color helmet, other then white? Its hard to tell who is driving on the video.

Thanks, FF.

It might be hard to tell Chad and I apart in my car. I drove in the 3rd run group. My helmet is also white. I have a beard. If you can see the car numbers, I was 36, Chad was 37.

No prob...did you get the vid I emailed you?

Sorry Loren, aside from my brother's Altima, I didn't get any third run group cars on on tape. I was racing in theat group a well.

If anyone ever spots me at any autox events and wants me to catch a few of their runs on tape or grab some shots with a still camera, I'd be happy to. I usually have a digital video or still camera with me, or I'll use your camera.

I'd like to see the video of Chad driving my car. You can try to email it to me, but it might be easier to just send me a link to someplace I can grab it from. Lemme know.

with a limited slip differential lifting a side isnt a big deal

the whole diff out of my car being rebuilt sucks.

i'm experiementing with this suspension, i have stock 14mm swaybars, we'll see what happens when i put my real ones in, play with my alignments, and play with my dampening.

i might put 10/8 springs from my 8/6 kgmm right now.
