Are you kidding? This post shows just how little you know about this business. Andy has been around forever, helps tons of people out here, and HAS posted some very high-end builds. This guy has worked at some of the very best shops in our area. He is well known around here and well regarded. His builds HAVE been at car shows and many here HAVE seen them personally. We supply lots of his high-end equipment to go along with the lines he is direct with. He discusses allot of these builds with us-there are definately upper-level stuff. You may want to search his previous posts. He has posted quite a few very nice builds, and even nicer fixes performed by hacks previously. You are barking up the wrong tree on that one brother. WRONG guy to target...

 

aww its ok matt...you tampa guys can all tree hug together in your circle jerks...but the orlando area...i see people like you all all the time...talk alot of junk about how good you are but when someone with less experience comes along and shakes stuff up you guys either run for cover or team up to try and get rid of him...it'll never end...but this young buck knows alot for 900+days and does his research before opening his mouth...


as for andy he's talked about this 48k build for 2 months now..and has said the same thing each time he's got equipment but needs batteries and alts....if he was hitting 164 on music..then why hasnt he been into competition or known outside of tampa. oh wait because it didnt happen.

 

What you haven't learned is to shut your mouth and listen. If you take two minutes to soak in some constructive critism you may actually learn something. And, you may actually progress. But when you come on here like you know everything-then clearly prove that you don't by making a dumbass comment, you prove just how young and hot-headed you are. Grow up or you will never get any respect or knowledge in this industry.

 

respect from you just isnt something i'm after....but i know that i get my customers off of how my car sounds and seeing other peoples builds that i've done...no need to try and run to tampa to do a build i'm not being paid for. especially for a biased opinion to judge.

 

I will glady pay you for the work you do-if it is totally professionaly acceptable to the customer who's vehicle it is. Of course, you will be watched closely by my installers to be sure no damage is done-as with any new employee. I will even pay your gas. Seriously...

 

i'll pitch in for half that gas. mainly because i am 100% confident that he will now proceed to disappear, or change the topic, and not step up to the plate.

not exactly the way i like to meet new people, but it is good to see people standing up against morons like this and holding true to the real industry standards. im looking forward to expanding my knowledge here. just got banned from flspl because candeshop reported my posts about his box being "something normal that anyone could do". apparently thats off topic.



anyways, as to not be entirely off topic in my first post here, the jbl car that was mentioned before cande proceeded to pull out the microscope to measure his pecker with, looks good. i havent had any experience with jbls top of the line gear.. any comparisons as to other high quality brands? i've had experience with hertz/audison, jl, sound stream, polk, alpine, and pioneer.. along with various pro audio set ups.

It has nothing to do with that.. hell it could be firstgens first build..(pretty bad) but if you made incorrect statements or bashed what he did right then you will still get it.. then you try to take everyone down with you.. these "BIG boys" as you put it either A.own their own shop
B. Work on Nice cars for themselves through shops
C. Work at a shop

They come here to help out as this forum has a lot of misguided members usually just starting out.. and they spend their free time to help. They offer discounts for members here to help out this kind of "family" they will trouble shoot with you on here for free on their time..

and you just happen to not take ANY pictures of your work.. GTFO of here..
