Default Good Job

Hey Sweet looks like fun

I like the Stinger Batteries that come with the Battery box (The Black Medal Sleeve Around The Battery is A Battery Box)

We are finishing up a Mercedes G - Wagon that is exactly the opposite from this one, instead of a Wam Wagon it will have some sweet sound

Head unit = Clarion VX 709 with Navigation
Amplifier = JL Audio 6 Channel (Was already customers Amp)
Speakers = Image Dynamics CTX-65cs in front doors and dash
Image Dynamics CTX 6.5 in rear door
Image Dynamics CTX 4 in rear upper panels
Subwoofer = Image Dynamics CTX-104

The sub is flushed into passenger side rear wall and under grille cloth
The Amp is flushed into drivers side wall
The Deck is a complete custom build on dash kit and harness as their is no kit or harness for this vehicle available

This was one fun ass build, go look for some info on one of these cars and you will begin understand, because you will have to search extensively to find any info on it.

Will post pics in the next few days

The machine shop next door fabricated a bracket that holds the back "hand hole" of the battery, as well as the metal sleeve being attached to the amp rack. (just trying to keep it clean) I don't think it's going anywhere.

Ah cool, good job then. I'm always grouchy about batteries. Even though 99% of the vehicles on the road will never be flipped over it's always got to be considered, and so often it's not.

Default Mercedes G500

here are a few pics of the G wagon we just did

This is the first dash kit we built for as the customer had a Pioneer AVIC N3 and wanted the radio mounted low and flat black to match the AC controls.

We ended up putting a Clarion 2 DIN Navigation in later and redoing the kit as a gloss black (Pics To Come Later)

On the right side behind the jump seat is the amp flushed into the drivers side rear wall

On the left side is the sub box built to keep all his interior space and match the factory look

Then on the upper rear are the 4" Image Dynamics where we had to rebuild the grille covers and once again trying to keep the factory look

Oooh that's sweet. I'm sure that dash looks a million times better when the headunit is flipped out. Amp looks great too, will it be hidden? I'm sure this car is gunna' sound GREAT. Any sound deadening being done? Also, was Image Dynamics a customer choice? If so, smart guy! Great stuff if you can afford it.

It was a mutual decision on the ID.This product is not very pricey at all. Its not cheap either, but for the sq that you get and its abailaty to take a gang load of power not many lines compare.(probably none in the same price range) . This is my opinion, I dont care to start a Giant debate about it. And thanks for the props ALpha

Default More on the Mercedes G Wagon

This is the way the dash ended up after putting in the Clarion 2 DIN with Navigation

The screen on top of the dash is his back up camera monitor which was done previously to us.
