no its not that, the jensen 94xx are timing sensitive, a momentary switch with a short push, long push will disable the video bypass every time without fail.

Most of the Pioneers are different....they don't even need a switch. Just ground the green and you're done.

you know how you connect a wire to your e-brake... well instead hook it to a swtitch and then to a ground

u mean the ground wire from the harness...hook it to a toggle switch and then from there another wire to the metal ground

no, there should be a wire you hook to your e-brake.......then again I have a pioneer and I am hearing they are easier to bypass

ok as for the jensen all the new ones (e.g. xx11)
a toggle switch is fine you just need to time it right turn on wait about 2-3 sec, then off wait about 2-3 sec, then on.
a momentary push button will work a little easier but electricity realy doent care what type of switch it goes through. most pioneers are the same.
BTW i have installed several of these and have gotton all of them to work.
