Low power best sounding sub I ever had was a Polk audio ex 10". The Polk momo's from what I've read and heard are just as good.

ehhh + .5 on the momo subs, they will blow quickly when overpowered

Any (any descent name brand) monoblock amp, spend a little extra and get a solobaric series.

i personally recommend something loud.Lets say one mmats pro diecast12,off a bd1500.
