sub advice
I'm not a big Kicker fan. They're sloopy, and a bit unreliable.
If you're going with a Alpine sub, might as well go with an Alpine amp...any mono class putting out 250-500w rms should work well.

I didnt mean that kicker or mtx was the best.. I was just really unsatisfied with my 3 type R 10's i used to have... there amps, head units, tv's ect are fucking awesome though..
ever since alpine added the multi-roll surround to the type r i've liked it.
also i've taken more accurate and faster responding shits than most subs kicker has released. of course i never listen to any booming bass tracks, i'm a double bass man, so quick response/accuracy > spl.
and don't bother with alpine's amps. they may be the best you'll find at best buy or circuit city, but there's much better out there. their s/n ratio is borderline shitty. i assume that's a byproduct of trying to pack too much power into such small packages.
