Its all good. The 8053 was one of 2 decks with which the EC9004 did not include the firmware/install CD. So I waited on that for like a month or two from Eclipse, now that I got it Im just waiting to install everything at once.

I had to pay retail for mine (which I usually don't do being that I work at CC and know people at shops) just so I could get it before they discontinued them. And my buddy who is an Eclipse dealer in NJ hardly lets anyone buy Eclipse long distance because theyre very strict with online sales. So good luck.

 

How much was retail around $400? If I would've known they were gonna discontinue them I probably would've done the same. I'm gonna try and hook it up anyway just for shits and giggles.
