Eclipse Commander
Anyone know anything about these? I just bought one on ebay for my head unit. I don't think they make them anymore, but I'm hoping I'll get mp3 processing with it.
I have Eclipse's: CD8053 deck, 9004 Commander, 30761 Balanced Line Adapter, and 5083 CD Changer. Everything but the deck is waiting to be installed, simply based on the fact that im waiting til I get all my equipment to install everything at once. What exactly did you want to know, and what head unit are you using it with.
P.S. Kirk (SupraKid) is also a resident Eclipse freak and used to have the commander as well as 2 changers and 2 10's, and I believe he also had their GPS.

I've got a CD8443 and I just bought a E-COMM 90300 I think it is. Just wanted to know if it was a decent setup and if the functions were easy to control with voice. It's supposed to have GPS built in I think, but I can't find many specs on it and I'd also like to know if this one has MP3 capability
Not sure. Kirk might know. I know the EC9004 gives the CD8053 mp3 capability, but thats all I was worrying about when I bought it, so I didnt really research other commanders. My buddy owns a shop in NJ and carries Eclipse, and would definitely know, so if you dont get any good replies let me know. Or you can just install it and see
