Default sqealing problem?

i have a scoshe 300 watt amp and 2 6 1/2" power acoustic speakers hooked up to it in the back... it sounded pretty nice until one day i started it up and all i heard was this really loud screaching sound come from the speakers along with the music... so i decided that it might be my amp and i unhooked them and hooked them directly into the head unit... this is really aggrivating considering i dont know much about audio systems... the only thing that i can think of was that i ran it for a little while with a fuse that had a higher rating but thats about it... and the problems started after i changed it out for the right one... can someone please help me out? thanks a lot guys in advance
-Josh

in theroy if it wasnt just a amp problem... bad equipment can introduce noise. Noise filters will help, but not 100 percent remove. and tend to limit output
