Not quite sure exactly what subs you're getting, but JBL's mono amps are stable to 1ohm. You should easily be able to wire it for maximum output.

I'm not really sure what exact sub I'm getting either, but all the ones I've been looking into are rated at 4 ohms. I'll prolly still get the ED's but just off ebay or something.

If it's 4ohm DVC, you can wire it so the amp sees a 1ohm load.

So if its a 4 ohm DVC sub I can make it so it uses a 1 ohm load? It can't be a SVC, right? Alright, thats good since every sub I've looked at were 4ohm DVC subs. Thanks alot. I'll prolly need you to help with the wiring once I get the sub if you don't mind.

Right, the lowest you could go with a single 4ohm SVC sub is 2ohms. You're probably pretty confused by now though. If you need help, let me know...I can draw you a diagram and send it to you.

No not so much confused. Just learning really. But I'll just get a sub and then choose an amp after that. But I'll definitely contact you about wiring when I get there. Thanks alot.
