have a s13 with a ka out of a s14 turbo kit is all here just need a good tuner and need to know what tuning program to purchase or if the tuner will supply one i could buy. lmk want to see some type of history or vouches if possible new to the united states so dont know too many people...

Depends on what type of tune you are wanting to get...or what you can afford. ROM tune or standalone?

 

Well if you go Rom tune ..Only a matter of time and your shit is going to blow ! If you go AEM it's the proper way your car will be perfectly tuned for many years to come ...

 

YES^ it wont be a daioley drivin car but i still want ti done right to wear i can maybe take it out every now and then..whats a AEM run on here or anywhere for that matter. and who can tune them..

 

^ hiboost can and it'll cost you out the ass. Lowest i've seen an EMS for a KA is i think $600 or $700

Why not go for a hacked oem ecu w/good tuning software to tune w/ I.E-Nistune,Calumsult(Hard to find now and no longer make them),TunerproRT,etc and have martin tune it. Prolly save you half of the AEM route after you buy the unit and pay for dyno/tune and it will be essentially the same as standalone.

 

moates.net sells a rtp board and nistronic package for $550. IMO if you drive any car hard it will break, the most god like tune will not change this.

If you buy AEM your car will take ten minutes to start every morning. So if buying a standalone is worth pushing your schedule back 10 minutes every morning, go for it.

 

Yea, if your tuner/tune is garbage. My aem tunes have been in fla to NY without cold start issues. You my friend had a BS tuner put a BS tune on your AEM EMS.
