don't know much about an acura cl but my thoughts were its just a sedan.. not anything related to performance..

there wasnt really much traffic...we had the light...just before it turned two cars entered in front of us, from the cross street ...they got far enough in front that we had reached about 80 MPH... as far as i was concerned it was over...but the WS6 got in behind me then i moved over for him after we both passed the car blocking his lane....that was it...

 

the fast CL has gone 13.7 but think's there's another tenth on the table...102 is my highest trap...but again on the right day there might be another 1 MPH there as well 8.930 1/8th at about 80PH so you tell me...ever see a LS1 go 8.7-9.0 in the 1/8th @83 ? if so the guy that gets the jump will win more than likely and to restate if we took it to 100+ im sure he would have gone by me...
and no the fast CL aint that fast yet ...so you dont wanna waste your time with me....but im not done so...when i go 13.2 on the motor with the only weight reduction coming from trading heavy parts for lighter ones ,hoping to get to 3600lbs. with driver at that point i might add a 100 shot taking me into to the mid to upper 12's then we can talk...

 

Wait 13.7 and you beat an ls1?? ram air?? I am confused! clarify for me again please! did he suck at driving , maybe miss a gear ?? not being a dick but he should have got ya!

 

yes 13.7 is my best posted number ...i think i could get a 13.6 ...you've never seen an LS1 go 13.7? that surprises me...but again...im pretty fast the first half ive trapped 81 as my highest in the 1/8th.... L's that i see go like 83 average (stock... ) it's the second 1/8th were the difference becomes signifigant...on the street to 80 ...it's a drivers race IMO ...doesnt take a bad driver to be half a car back or one car ahead to that speed

 

yes 13.7 is bad time for an ls1! i ran a 14 on bald tires in a lt1 and most ls1 with sim mods to mine will beat on motor! take for instance dinoz ls1 ram air lid and a muffler 12.7 I think ! thats what i am saying. Sorry dino used you lid and a muffler line!
