9 inch is considerbly tougher than 12 bolt

I didnt say the 12 bolt was weak by any means. I will be getting mine installed within the next 30 days or so , but for serious race applications...9 inch is the way to go. As far as 10 bolt..its a crap shoot. My lil ole 10 bolt has gotten me some fairly good times

hay mr ss. i agree. but like i said i aint got near the power to justify a 9 inch rear end. i will need a rear end upgrade from the 10 bolt yes. if i had a 12 bolt i wouldnt need to upgrade because i aint going to make the hawk into a 6 second qarter mile car. a 12 bolt will hold up to me making 500 to 600 horsepower. dont you agree with that.
