WRX vs White Galant VR4

WRX vs White Galant VR4
on the way home from dropping Aharons Cobra off to get his exhaust fitted.. we encountered a white VR4 with at least exhaust (lots of black soot around it was a sign he was running rich.. so maybe injectors and other stuff aswell ?) ... we tailed him on I4 ... couldnt get anywhere to run until we got onto 275 goin south.. i gave him the drop.. popped it into third.. and by the top of third had caught up to him.. not sure who was faster cos i think maybe he slowed because we were catching traffic.. so in my book.. was pretty even.. .. gave the kid a thumbs up and we went on our way

he should come to teh track day so i can run him propper !.. i dont really count that as a kill .. i think he got off it early.. i dunno.. Aharon said it was a kill.. lol

Yeah it was John, he stopped by and told me. He said he was pulling on you slightly on the roll but really wanted to get lined up somewhere with you to make it a fair run. He's running 13.20's@101 pretty consistant right now so that may give you a better idea on how you would hold up against him in the 1/4.

i dunno what i run now.. i was hoping for some 13.5-13.9 @ 100 at teh next track day.
was a very rare find to see one on the road..hehe.. i figured he was pullin on me slightly.. wasnt sure if he slowed for traffic or what.. i guess he did

I let off twice on the first run...second run, I pulled a little at first, but you definitely had the top end advantage on me...
I told Jeff it would be a great heads up run...definitely be some fun. Unfortunately, I'm going to be moving this weekend and won't be able to make it to the TR Track Day...
Any given Sat. I'm willing to make a trip over to TPA, though...if you'd want to line it up one weekend, let me know.
