Driving around town tonight I had a shiny new red SS pass me. AS he did I looked in and saw 2 gauges on the pillar and exhaust pipes out the rear. So I kinda speed up a little. We go down the road and he downshifts punches it with me behind so I drop it too in 3rd. I can see he pulls a little (which I expected). We do this a couple more times with me in front once and him in front once. Same result each time.

Then we get to a light side by side (yeah baby). He asks how many psi I am running if Ive been to the track and says you wanna go? so Im like sure!. So the light turns green and I jump a car and 1/2 on him. 2nd gear he inches up. 3rd gear he starts to come up but I ran into traffic about 3/4 through 3rd gear with him right at my bumper so I had to slow down.

We stop beside each other a few lights down the road and he says That d*mn thing will move! Nice car. So I say the same to him and we go about our ways. Nice guy. Should have thought to bring him out one weekend or to 1320 but he turned around and I couldnt catch him after I did. But it was a nice close race with an SS. Not a bad end to my night!

Hey were you the SS that ran against the Yellow 70s (I think) Camero Sat.? Howd that wind up? There was a nice blower under the hood...but your HP numbers are nice too!

 

Yeah....according to the Mulletmaster with the camaro he wooped me. It wasnt even close he said. I went to go race him and we lined up. I was getting ready when he just took off. I was like WTF and tried to catch up so we could line up again. So we went to the other side and my buddy Steve counted down this time. He jumped out since i was on street tires but by the time he got to 50 mph I passed him going about 75 mph. I put about eight cars on him to around 100 then his car let out a huge backfire complete with flames then everything shutdown lights and all. Hahaha....what a piece of shit. Then apparently he started talkin smack about how bad he beat me once he got back to the spot. Hahahahahaha! What a clueless jackass. So I guess thats what ive been doing wrong. Next time when i line up with someone Im gonna look over at the other guy and ask how he wants to count down...while he is thinking Ill just take off. Lol. If I go out there I may bring the slicks next time see if he wants to put some money on it and put like 15 cars on him. Maybe....just maybe he will have to admit defeat if I win by that much.

Yeah...its no biggie. Mullets will be Mullets...nothing I can do about it LOL. I am just about over the whole late night street racing thing anyways. I like the man VS machine theme better meaning I like going to the track and just trying to better my times by making improvements.

Woo hoo! thats a deal. To feel the 600HP again would rock. My last 10 second car experience was in a Lingenfelter 650HP twin turbo 99 Vette! never felt anything like it before. and a 224mph track tested top speed! Insane.

But yeah Ill look for you.
