5.0 MuTTstang and a BMW Coupe fail today.
Damn that things probably pretty fast! My old car was a 2nd generation integra with a b18c5 swap, full suspension, etc... I kinda miss it sometimes.
My buddy has a teggy, I like it but its too heavy. For now I'm working on new coilovers, I already have a rear sway bar/subframe brace, rear disc brake conversion, SS lines, and all that nonsense. I started autocrossing and when I was getting my ass handed to me by a stock Yaris I realized I needed to spend more money learning how to drive quickly than making the car a bit quicker.
SCCA has a region here, it encompasses Tampa, Orlando, and Daytona, but I'm not sure where they autocross. Here in Tampa I prefer to Autocross with FAST, because they're far more relaxed as classing goes (with FAST I'm in Street Tire Modified < 3 liters, with SCCA I'm in effing Street Modified). I'm moving back to Daytona saturday, and my first autocross with SCCA will be sunday in Deland. As for track days, the main ones in the area are held at Sebring, Moroso, Road Atlanta, and Roebling Road just off the top of my head.
Yeah it kinda sucks. with FAST you'll be in the same class I was in. Watch out for the Yaris
