On my way home from work I realized some mullet dude and his 5.0 MuTTstang was trying to run. I first embarressed him from a roll at 2500rpm, then again from a stop. I guess those Dual flowmaster pipes and Cobra rims didn't do any good! Then again on my way home from Sunshine Speedway, "rained out", I had some douche in a BMW 3 series try to run from a stop, and a roll. How funny that was! Poor things must have no power! What a great day!

 

328i?

 

The newer 335s are no slouch with 300hp. from a roll, it would probably be a good race with an STi.

 

Don't know it was dark. All I could tell it was a black coupe. Probably between 99-04ish.

 

stock STi's are dogs from a roll, a 335i would eat one up.

 

Well if it was an E46 328i they're not exaactly performance models. If it was a 335i then it should have been a much better race.

 

I don't know about that, but I was doing the eating up. STI's might be slow from a roll coasting along at 25mph in 4th gear, but not racing from a roll while steady spooling. I don't know much about beemers, but that kid was driving it like he thought it was the $hit.

 

I'll second that, my car is slow as balls, but I raced an 05 STI from a 30 roll, he was brake boosting, gave me the hit and proceeded to make it look like I was in reverse.

Type R swapped civic coupe. I can hang with the NA cars, and stock GTIs, SRT4s etc, even V8 trucks and some V8 cars. But anything with a real turbo just eats me. Thats why I'll be supercharging it come next fall.
