I always go out near gandy every Saturday but I just found out I can also go on Fridays. Anyway I was taking a friend up there for hsi 1st time. His name is Gary Kirby. He was driving his Cavilier and he removed his hose a little to make it louder. he was bragging in front of everybody so I started braging about my cousins Saturn. When we get to my house we both go out to SR60(Me in the Saturn and him in the Cavilier). We go up to the FORD dealership and make a U-Turn to bring us up to the intersection of Falkenburg and SR60. I drop it at 6000 and a shit load of smoke came from the exhaust but I was still leading. I was leading until he hit 4th gear then we were nose to nose. We kept tying through 3 races. Then these teeny-spirit Fast and the furious boys pulled up in their CIVICS with Nitrous as they say. Then we let them smoke us so they feel good and we just hope the state trooper 1/4 mile up the road catches them. Does anybody else get tired of these little 16 year old kids that get CIVICS for their birthdays from their momies and try to make it like the movies??? it may just be me but it pisses me off. Oh yeah ...nevermind

well you cant say all that about some kids you just looked at but i do hate these kids who go out with their cars that they didnt pay for and dont even know shit about....ive asked people out at the races what they have done and they say shit like i got some stuff from this shop like intake and stuff.....they dont know shit about cars or anything they get all of their stuff done at some shop which im sure saw how dumb they were and charged them out the ass.... ask them how a cam works....they say whats that????...what kind of motor is that????...a honda motor...they reply....and im sorry but the stickers got to go..thats one of the things i hate about the whole import scene...(no offense to respectable fast import owners who actually have good taste....) my car is all stock on the outside and it will stay that way untill it is just insanely fast then i might get a body kit or something but untill then id rather spend it on motor mods.....i run into imports that are gutted and have so much shit on the outside and completely i kill them... even when my car was stock i did....so the moral of the story is...if you cant beat a stock mustang you dont need the 500 stickers and a 50 foot spoiler.....

I dislike the 16yr. olds that go around flexing on everybody that DONT have fast cars. The ricers bother me but if one of those punks has a car that is actually quick theyre doing better than the ones with a civic dx with an intake and exhaust. Just do some more work to your car so you wont have to whine about 16yr olds beating you any more.

First of all I am not whining about losing...I let them win...read the post. Secondly all I wanted to know is if anybody agreed with me on my feelings of the kids that get cars from their parents and go around like they know shit and mess with pedestrians

You know... Omega Rain... at first I was going to give you the benifit of the doubt but honestly your posts are nothing but vents of someone that knows shit about other cars...
You came here and asked several questions got heckled and whined about it I still gave you the benifit of the doubt...
I would not classify everyone that might be enthusiastic about street racing young and have some mods done to the car to be a FATF wannabe...
Honestly I am 24 look 18 drive a honda based car and love street racing... I would also take anyone on that says that they dropped gear in a saturn at 6K RPM... considering the redline is at 6500RPM and the peak power is around 5600RPM - can I say bullshit?
Ill advise you not to try to BS people here and bash excited import drivers... considering the crowd...
Now on the other hand... I agree about the riceboys who buy what they have and dont know what it is/does. Those lameasses suck. Usually they will get beat even by a car that is not so modded simply because they dont know how to drive what they bought properly...

I never said I know anything about cars...thats why I come here. There is nothing BS about dropping it at 6000. Anyway I come to this place for advice but this is my only post not asking for it. All you other guys make replies and alwasy say...Thats BS...hahahaaa right. I said FAST AND THE FURIOUS cause they always ude that same damn line...I live my life 1/4 mileat a time...im free(or whatever) and now they are always saying NOS when I rarely heard it before. You can always rev to the red line it just bounces back and forth but I can drop it but I get alot of smoke. You know what? To hell with this site...I bet SOME of the people here are nerds that know alot and live with their parents. I said SOME. From now on I will get advice in person. I have a friend that knows alot about cars and an auto-mechanic in the Coast Guard...I am sure they can help me. Peace out and good luck on the next kills...

One more thing....sometimes it is just better to hold back at 40mph and let the other people win. I am a good sport...I race ANYTHING knowing I will lose and if I let people win they have something to brag about to their friends while they are making it way out of proportion

Just because you drop the clutch at 6K does not mean you will go faster... When you drop the clutch just before redline first gear does not get you up to speed to maximize the use of second gear... this can make you slower than you really are... I was merely trying to make a point to you that maybe you should try looking into driving that saturn a little better and faster. One of the main ways to make you a faster driver is to drive the powerband and in your car you were dropping the clutch after the peak power... useless.
Also being that there are many different personalities here why not try to not take things so seriously...?? The ONLY thing that I take seriously in the webboard is the advice... People read and write on this board while drunk high etc... so people here can be harsh and can be nice the next day... its funny that way...
As for you only taking advice in person one person imparticluar you are limiting your resources... if he is a V-8 lover he will steer you away from the imports which might actually fit your budget and goals or vice versa. Well I am sure you will be back to read this message...
