i might have to make a cruise over there after new years time. i'm in valrico, a suburb of the tampa bay area. bout an hour from orlando. the scene isnt that great, but def come on through. think you'd have a good time

 

I'm in the Tampa Bay area but travel to Tampa for meets. There's meets here every week usually 4 or 5 a week... I go to about 2. The scene out here isn't as great as I seen it in Orlando. But there's a few cool people out here.

 

we can make it to orlando in a little over an hour so to where your located in 2.. Its hard to get everyone all together now, Cops are busting down hardcore. All the lil swaped civics have kind of ruined it for us all. We are a small town and you can pretty much fill a good section of wallmart parking lot with all the cars over 200hp in town. Most the people are older and you only run into them late at night. The guy with the twin turbo'd ford gt out of jax was going to race a few of our twin turbo'd z06's that put down around 800 to the wheels. We also have a fully built sti with a 35r that is still in the works so he will probably be pretty nasty, fully built stroked and bored... We live right on the water and alot of rich as people live in palmcoast. We need a good tuning shop..

 

Jax has the best meets i have seen. We went to orlando to a old airport and we were racing some people in the evo and we had to dip when the cops came. In jax they dont even bother you but its hard to find a car with less then 400 hp at the meets. Most the time the races are for money.

 

Whoa yeah haven't been to a meet that actually has 400+ whp cars racing for money out this way. Although I've heard they exist but they are kept on the DL. Which is fine because immature kids ruin enough meets. It gets worst everytime. I don't know how many meets I've been to in the last month or so and have gotten kicked out. So many times I can't even give you a count.

 

we use to have somthing like that set up in an industreal park near us. We would only have 40 cars however it would only be people with a min of $50 bet. A civic hatch thought he was cool and did a ricer fly by not knowing where he was hit the railroad tracks got air and when he landed it cracked his axel and he flipped. He had to be air lifted out of there and me and 2 other guys were almost arrested for organizing street racing. They couldn't really prove it was us so they didnt press charges. That was when i had my turbo'd galant...

Stage 2 srt-4, full exhaust, wastegate, fmic, running 26lb of boost fully tuned. The first run was at 40mph and he pulled a little more then 1 car ahead of me held it to 100+ and we shutdown. The second 45 roll i pulled 1 car on him in the beginning and we were about door to door when we shut down. He said he had a bad shift going into third however I am on stock clutch and shifter so his 3rd is alot shorter of a throw then mine.

As White already stated.... It is ridiculous to run that much boost, because he is pulling so much timing (which is actually making his car slower). You deserve to put 15 cars on that fucking tool! Good Kill!

And I'm not gonna even get into BRAKE BOOSTING on a stock turbo.
