LOL, I had the weirdest experience one time at Home Depot; I have this honkin' big Sprint PPC-6700 cell phone/pda that I need for work so the wall paper is pretty large and visible. The phone was on the checkout counter and rang so the screen turned on and my car was on it that day. The guy behind me in line is like cool, you took a pic of that car too and shows me his phone and my car was on the screen. I was like I've taken lots of pics of it but you should come get a pic with you sitting in it if you like it and then I broke out the key; guy about flipped.

I know the owners of about nine Lambo's in the area and I figure there are probably a few more but not many, so definitely not common, although I drive the shit out of mine so a decent number of people in Tampa might have seen it.

Yep, there are about five or six US distributors, your best bet is to get them used though because the depreciation on a race car is pretty huge. Buying a used Radical is not really a bad thing though, you have to have the engine rebuilt regularly anyway so even if it has a bunch of hours on it, just add $1900 to what you expect to negotiate and that's what you'll end up spending overall.

and some of the goodies I've had put in:

along with new ECU and thermostat; thing is a monster. Here's my favorite G55 video, mine has the same power as this one now (video title incorrectly says e55), you can hear the supercharger whine:
Video of e55 amg 12.5 quarter - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
although my video is fun too. YouTube - G-Wagen 0-60 in 5 seconds baby!

An evo driver of equal experience would probably be 30 seconds slower around Sebring than me in the Radical, it's just that fast a car even when driving within my limits, but a good driver would certainly be faster in their evo than me; I have a friend who has a decently modded evo (still able to be driven to and from the track) that does about a 2:34 at Sebring which is about 10 seconds faster than my best time and ten seconds is big once you're under 2:50. He's pretty close to the end of what he'll be able to do without making it non-streetable while an excellent driver in my car could rip off a 2:10 lap which is a massive difference in time, even though it doesn't sound like a lot to those that don't go to the track. Just to give you an idea, a $350k Porsche 911 GT3 RSR race car with a pro driver will do a 2:04, so my car is 6 seconds slower and costs $270k less.
