Thats the guy but I never said I had a 20g or 770's. I am on a port matched big 16g with stock 450's. And he didn't rape me, I smoked 1st and 2nd then pulled back in the parking lot. Then he raced my boy in the "Z06 T.A." and I followed, when the talon turned around we ran back from a roll and I pulled him in third and he pulled back up next to me and we ran to top end dead next to each other.

And so you know the T.A. has a complete Z06 CONVERSION, from the motor, trans, rearend, and suspention. It started as a stock WS6.

The guy in the talon seemed pretty cool but I guess he likes telling stories or something. Just to set it strait I am not saying this to start shit but who are you and do you wanna run?

Agreed. A WS6 would not be behind a "near stock" 1g in a race. Especially if it is a "Z06 conversion". The only way he would be behind you is if he wasn't racing. But the way you say it, he was racing. So good luck with that story because it's not true. -OR- your friend with the TA can't drive (not that you can really mess up a highway run). If you want to prove me wrong I'll try to set up a race between you and someone I know who owns a near stock TA. Enjoy your fail

 

My turbo is at g-pop shop getting rebuilt and i'll gladly run him when its back on the car.Dsms are cheap and it sounds like he bets big bucks with a car worth at most 1k.I used to have a 1g drag talon with a HRC super 16g and i know i couldnt beat a zo6 anything from a dig or roll especially modded.Either something is wrong with the zo6 ta or someone is lying.I'm no hater i'm just realistic when it comes to racing.Oh and the excuse of spinning is bullshit buy a awd or get some drag radials.

 

I call BS on a Z06 Conversion. You shot yourself in the foot when you said it has a ZO6 suspension change. Corvetts have a independent rear suspension and the TA's have a solid rear. How would you do against a 240 with a SR20 swap pushing 14lbs with a FMIC? If that beats you then you have no chance against a stock TA auto, a 6 speed would rape you even worse.

 

BTW I have video of times a compleatly stock TA runs in the 1/4 with 18's on it. Also if you consider winning by being at the front at 145+ miles a hour on the street, you only won in the aspect that you are one of the dumbest kids on the road today. Race your car at a track and see how you fair against your domestic competition. you = FAIL
