Doug at TopSpeed tuned the car... He left the C16 tune on without me knowing and I was running pump gas for 3 months.

The car had C16 after he tuned the 93 map, but he didnt change it back .

So for his stupidity I get to pay a shit ton of money.

also, for everyone saying i should beat him from a dig, that camaro cuts 1.5x 60's on M/T's at the track...

couldn't have been too horribly off if it ran for 3 months on the tune.

You think 12.5 AFR, 23lbs of boost, and a timing map that looks like a skateboard ramp on pump gas isn't horrible?

It's a testament to how well the EJ257 is built

Shit, tuners get all huffy if ya even hint at that.
I was rolling with screwed up fan settings and a 14.5 A/f blasting 11.1 to 1 on 93 octane. Tuner is supposedly the best LS1/6/etc tuner in Tampa.
Blah blah. If I see him floating in the bay, he gets an anchor to hold onto...
Now I am learning to do it myself, and got a good tutor to help me along.
Self tune FTMFW! Got to go to 11.3 CR now!

PS...Stalled LSx GMs are bad news from a dig, even for Scooby-do's.
Ask the AWDs Ive raced. I am on an M6 and wish I could launch like a stalled A4 Fbod
