I saw this cavalier at trackday yesterday night, the announcer said it was a ecotec boosted cavalier..... Anyway, I left the track and headed home.... I am not sure what times he was running.

Well I was on I75 and he pulls up next to me, we match speeds......I would say about 60 mph maybe a little lower. I ease into the throttle and he hits it, I follow and go WOT. I put about 2 cars maybe 1 1/2 by mid 4th and we shut down. At mid fourth EM detected knock and automatically pulls 2 degrees timing until the car is turned off.

So, next run (me with -2 degrees timing) we match speeds again at about 50-55 mph. I honk it off, we are dead even through 3rd and still even at the beginning of 4th gear around 85mph..... then I start pulling away slowly. I had about 1 car on him by 110-115 or so and proceeded to pull but he may have let off at that point Anyway, guy gave me a thumbs up and was a good sport. Thanks for the runs. He is probably on here since it was at TR trackday!

Really? Because I think my car is only good for a 12.7-12.9 from a dig on my setup. So, I guess that sounds about right. Drive train loss is a MF with AWD

 

I doubt it because this guy was a good sport and he was headed to Tampa but who knows. He had a white hat on last night though!
