yep I on purpose made my car boost only 15lbs so I could have an excuse to lose since I drive a honda. That is ridiculous honestly but I could care less what you think of my explanation

what does a z06 cost???
a car like isc or mine cost no real money and when done right they hang with total mods maybe 20grand i know a Z06 cost more than that?

This thread is ridiculous. Big deal who spent more on the car. People buy what they want, and what they can afford. If someone spends $35,000 on a Z06 , and it's slower than a $10,000 civic, big deal. I'd personally rather drive and spend the money on the Z06. I'm sure anyone that spends money to buy a Cobra or a Z06 could've easily bought a slower import and dumped tons of money into it, or vice versa. It's preference.
And the excuses do get to be a little stupid. " My car's not tuned ", " It wasn't running right that night", etc. This shit pisses me off. If you lost, you lost. Fix your stuff, and come back out. You'll have more respect if you come out faster than before, and come out without having had made excuses when you lost earlier.

I have read over the entire thread and it seems like the story is clean? The rsx guy simply stated his problems and that he lost to the faster car of the two. The z06 guy seems to have no beef? I think that the RSX guy should resolve his issues and then request a rematch, not a big deal. It's like when you miss a gear, you would simply state the facts.

I dont think JSimpson was making any excuses, he was just giving another detail of the race in that he was unable to reach full boost. He already said that the 2lbs may not have made a difference in the outcome anyways. I dont see any reason to give him a hard time about it. He admitted already admitted he lost that night.
