Your right, I havent run you, but I have seen your car run... I wasnt spinning... I actually dead hooked and bogged on the launch (2.5 60'), then let out a hair before the 1000' mark because I was banging the rev limiter in fourth at about 120mph... So there you go, I ran a 13.2@ 114.67mph... You were a whole .33mph faster than me....

Its ok though, you can say what you want... We all know the almighty Z06 can never lose and Im just hating because I didnt pay nearly enough for my car

What does the price of the car have anything to do with your stupid ass comments? your telling me you would have trapped over 120mph on that run? i think i need to go get my boots on for this. And yes the z06 can lose and it has lost before. Its really not that fast. Hell its stock. Id really like to see a 120+mph trap timeslip from you though. If you did it once you should have been able to repeat it.

And Im not saying anything, because I dont have a slip to back it up, which is fine... All my slips show traps around 113-115 mph, because I cant shift into fifth so I ride 4th gear to the rev limiter (which is usually around the 1000') and let off... But once shes back out, Im sure it will be no problem getting a 120+ mph slip... Hell, with 400+whp and a 2200lb fwd car, that should be a walk in the park.....

 

...i gotta ask, when did you do these 115mph runs? you slowly pulled me when i was on 3psi.

 

My car was running like ass the night I ran you and I honestly dont remember a slow pull, It was more like a "leave it on low boost and play with you, then switch it to hi and leap out in front" kinda pull.... but yes, that was before the 115mph runs.... We did alot more tuning after I ran you and just started playing with air/fuel and timing to get more power, and a more linear/useable powerband

Curious to know what has been proven. Chris if you had really seen John's car run you would not be selling it short. Seen it at the track maybe. Seen it run...No. If so what kind of time did you see him post. I have run John and know what he is capable of. Granted I have not seen Alberto run but I do give him much credit for stepping up. Hats off if you show. You will certainly gain my respect. Both John and I have seen the no shows too many times. I think this will be alot of fun for both guys but that Vette is gonna wax that ass. If I'm wrong guys don't worry I'll eat it. Again you guys need to be careful and I think both of you are man enough to man up so please do not take a caravan with you. Again best of luck.

 

Launch once again you are speaking based solely on knowin the z06, you have never seen me run period. But thats ok, I dont back down from races, I lose and win but I never back down.
