Yes, GS400... and yes, anyone who has driven one knows what they are capable of.

I don't know what 1/4 mile times have to do with me putting a couple of cars on 80-120MPH 1/4 mile times for both cars are very similar, of course I don't have to worry about missing a shift though. GS400 has been recorded doing a 14.3 in the quarter for a 98 model before ODBII... they slowed down a little 99 to present.

Turbo on my car can be had between 5K-10K and puts 400+ to the wheels, way more than I need. A simple TC and LSD (Supra 3.76) puts the car into the mid to low 13's but I really don't have much need for that either, as I stated my daughter is in the car 80% of the time.

My daughter is 3 and will be in the back seat... hopefully that is not your "thing"

P.S. I don't have to be a great driver, just put the gas on the floor or e-shift into 3rd and wait for the move...

I know......I typoed the es instead of gs.......its correct now, but the time was accurat for a GS400= 1/4 --->14.4 with a professional driver.

E shift is pimp, and I was j/K about your daughter. The way you put it sounded like she was the driver in it all the time.

Nah, just don't play around with her in the car... safety and easily a ticket for a ride to the pokey...

even though she does like it when I drive a little aggressive... it must be in the genes...

No offense, but it doesn't take a professional to turn off VSC, put the tranny in power mode, and power brake to get the best 1/4 in the GS400 (manual tranny is not an option and never has been on the GS). E-Shift actually slows the car from a dig, more useful for holding lower gear on a roll.

Motortrend managed a 14.3 (lowest published I believe)...

http://www.dragtimes.com/Lexus-GS400-Timeslip-112.html

Typical results vary between 13.9-15.0 for drivers I have spoken with. Switch the rear with a Turbo Supra 3.76 and add a higher stall dragon TC and consistant mid to low 13's are seen with SRT intake and aftermarket exhaust.

Believe me, the 1UZ-FE is quite a powerplant. The block is all aluminum with 6 bolt main bearing caps along with forged steel crank and balanced to zero forged pistons.
