I will race from a dig. It will not show my full potential on street tires, but that was my point for racing the last tr event on street tires. I will be back out soon with some new tires and fine tuning the boost and run on street tires from a dig. Although roll racing will be my best run, racing from a dig is cool too.

with the new radials the hook almost as good at a slick so i dont realy see the difference.

 

i didn't say drag radials, i ment normal tires.

 

christ this thread is now starting to drag on past my patience level, im sorry but roll racing if just plain goofy IMO, you will never see me roll race any of my personal cars, you can try to set all the rules you want in a roll race but the fact is you can not make it fair, the only roll race that i can actually see working is to go until someone fades away at top speed, thats what I used to do on bikes and thats the only "roll" race I would do in a car. on the other hand you can go, from a stop, with a starter, to a marked off point, geez theres an idea. we can get an actual winner that way with no excuses. now lets move on to the street tire, street car, race gas, blah blah blah.... run what you brung period. who cares whats done and what it runs on. ive been around for all phases, from back win a 11.90 car would rule to when an 8.90 car was needed, until now when a solid 10.0 car will demolish all, that is unless a few of the old guys come back out. i'm sorry that I and a few others set up there cars to run on the street what they run at the track, maybe people should stop being so power hungry and just try to get some of that shit on the concrete. back to previous topic, i'm not saying roll racing isnt fun, it is, but its just that fun, and shouldnt be taken as a serious way to judge two cars against each other, unless some serious ground rules are laid down, as far as im concerned you can hit your brakes at 130 and tell everyone you shut down at 140 and where ahead by a car when the other guy was about to fly by, even when you race for free who wants to lose.
