I dont have to run race gas. I have made 400whp on pump gas. Point is i built it for much more and yes i can beat most people on pump gas but i need race gas to compete with the crowd i want run with. I'm going up against cars with 2 power adders and double the cylinders. I dont see anything wrong with running race gas. if its there use it. I could get into that car and drive to NY if i wanted to. Thats a street car.

and if you check my first post you will see where i said its just like n2o. they sell it to anyone, not my fault you didn't buy it too......


they sell race gass to us all, not your fault we don't all use it. but your still going to hear about it...lol

p.s why don't you just run pump gas and a small shot?

Because i like alot of boost and that would be 2 power adders when i just need one. Eventually when i put a bigger turbo on then i will use nitrous to spool it.

What does it matter what gas you use when racing? Higher octane fuel is just used for safety. If you can get more out of it during a race with race gas then why not? V8's have been using race gas for a long time on the street.

There is only so much power you can put to the ground safely with an inline four cylinder (not directed towards you Ron). If I was making 400+whp right now I would be running race gas on the street as well.

Ron, have you ever looked into propane injection? I have been looking into it a little lately as I have ditched the alcohol injection in favor of propane injection (PM me if you want instead of replying to the thread).

I don't see running race gass occasionally as meaning that a car is not a street car. There are plenty of cars that do that on both sides of the house. I see a lot of the blower\nitrous\turbo domestics running race gas at the track and turning the wick way up on the power adders, then dailing them back for pump gas on the street and every day driving just like the import guys do.
