I'm not saying anything bad about your cars, I was merely saying that they arent even in the say league as far at overall performance goes. I though I read something about the new ones being equippent with a quaife lsd, which would go a long way towards making skittles a legit sports car......but as far as I know theyre basically neons with a turbo.

 

if I can beat Stis, a rather large amount of V8's, and many of the turbocharged 4 bangers on this board...I vote that my car is "sporty" enough....even if it is a gay little yellow neon

and NO, I am NOT calling out any V8s or turbocharged 4 cyl right now...I'm just simply saying that I have beatin my fair share of them, as many of you have beatin their fair share of mostly stock srt-4s...cause stock...yeah...they really are not anything to brag amount, I admit it

oh, and yes I also suck at launching from a stop...if only I could always ride around on slicks and the roads were always sticky...

 

The 04' Wrx sti are bad ass cars.. There was no way I was going to waste the guys gas from a stop.. He would of put the whole bridge on me.. STI's are awesome cars.. Srt4 are pretty fast cars for the buck though..Even though they have some cheap interior.. but the guy in the sti was a cool guy Props to him.Just having fun.. maybe i will get to race him again this sat night.. Who knows .. I Had the video of the race and it was a really good race..Close all the way to the end till he put it in his 6th gear LOL Nothing big just a slightly modded srt4 and a Bone stock sti..

and beating stis from a roll is something I was doing when I had a t25

I also dont have slicks but I do ok. Running from a stop IS drag racing so it would be something to look into.

 

same setup on my friends car...little bit more actually...he ran a 12.8 on slicks...I'm not saying I can do that or I can do better...just an estimate, but on slicks...I should have times by the middle of may and a dyno by the beginning of may

14.0 with a 400 lbs system in the trunk...kinda shifts the momentum a HUGE amount when launching it...got some stiffening thingies for my coils to help out the shifting of weight...also since then I've added several mods...and like I said, on SLICKS, I ran a 14.0 on street tires...which is still pretty shitty...plus I just discovered I have some heat issues that I am fixing right now...instead of the temp being at 180 at the track it was also at about 220 ...I'll be making some runs in may before I leave and I'll be glad to post my times...as well as my dyno
