Lined up again with the turbo mirage (nouseforname) from a 55mph roll or so in 3rd. He was in boost and took off fast, probably jumped out about a car. I got into 4th and started to pull just a tad and then clankety clank clank spark spark... he blew his intercooler off and left some chunks of it on the bridge.

Got the car back together, we lined it up again at a little higher MPH, maybe 60-65mph and I pulled about a car up top, good run though. Good guys, he's a few mods away from destroying me for sure.

Lined up with a black 1g with a front mount, AFC... maybe some more stuff, that's all that I could see from the outside. I let him get the hit in 3rd and I pulled immediately and didn't look back.

I was running a little bit more boost this week, but the car didn't feel as strong as last week. I think I'm still leaking boost somewhere, hopefully I'll get it straightened out soon.

You can tell how much of a difference a fmic makes in 4th gear when the stock side mount really starts to get heat soaked.

I ended up running that yellow srt-4 after you guys took of. We went from a 50/55 roll and I wasn't in the right rpm range for boost, so the srt-4 jumped about a car ahead at first, and by the middle of 4th(115mph) I was a couple cars ahead.

 

but I did beat the other mirage, muahaha

 

Nice, I kinda wanted to run some more cars but I haven't really built much confidence in my car yet. I'm still ironing out some tuning gremlins and some boost leaks, hopefully soon I'll be in the right frame of mind to challenge some random people. Good fun though. Did you fix your intercooler?
