I would think it was letting air in earlier. I know nothing of carbs though, so you got me.

Whatever it does, it propelled him to a 10.9!

Yeah I know eheh. It's the new tree style that drops right when the cars line up. I'm used to a second or two to settle before the lights start dropping. I'm going to start going there every week hopefully.

Why didn't you just get $3 and go hit the Veterans... you could've ran the same way, when the gate raises, saved yourself another $10, and still wouldn't have been breaking the law.

jfwy... we all have to start somewhere.

I needed some baseline times for the tranmission swap from a ZX2 to see what kind of difference it made. To start from a 20 second 1/4 mile and drop it to a 16 second 1/4 with just a header and transmission is awesome in my opinion

sounds like the RX-7 has 1 of 2 things....

A: Carb with mechanical secondaries ( I had an RX-7 12A with that)
B: A streetport.

Thats prob the valve thingie you mention, more than likely B

he's got a carb that's what I was talking about but I didn't remember where the secondaries he was talking about were. Thanks for clarifying

He also has straightpipes back, when he backfires there's a purty blue flame that comes out haha. He's down in the 10.40's this week, but his hydro line on his clutch went out
