sorry one of those things i will have to see to beleave... and im talking about Dan's car getting beat by a street civic, not a dragester rotary that revs at 20,000 rmps and then blows in the middle of its staging burnout causing us to have to wait a hour to get it all cleaned up... hate those things

 

we are in the process of building the same motor that SFP has in there 2,800 lb civic with full interior and a/c that has gone 10.29 at a sactioned event. I hope you are not to old because you will see it in your life time. We can build hondas to run 9's all it takes is money and a little knowlege. Still trying to make some more money

 

im only 18 so im sure i'll be around and i'll defiently have to be there to see a normal civic run a 9 best of luck in the mean time

im sure theres some normal civic somewhere in the world making 1200 hp at the wheels, but am i going to even see it, no... and the day that i see as many 400+ civics driving around as i do V8's then i will agree with you, times are changing. Until then i could go online and find you some V8's making unbeleaveable #'s, and im sure you could do the same of civics as well but the small fact remains that the civic is not concidered as much of a threat as V8's are in this day and age.

Rich celebrities around the world are all putting thier million dollar mansions up for sale and searching for studio apartments. Seeing the senselessness of these ramblings, allow me to throw out my 35mpg hwy on the 600 + rwhp SS in my garage. I know, but I didn't spray it the whole trip to Naples.

After further review, I retract my statement that I will never -ever- get beat by a civic, as now I fear that Civic Nation will be a calling. As it is now, I got enough Supra owners callin me out. Do you know how much spray it takes to keep THOSE guy's from pullin on ya?

 

this captain honda guy is cracking me up, its nice, us mitsu guys have John Shephard to fall back on, who has an 8 second street driven dsm, minus the a/c and such, but nonetheless, still street driven ....anyway, if someone can find a honda that'll beat dan from a standing start, i damn sure wanna be there to see it, although im not holding my breath
