Yeah you're right, 4 cylinders are getting fast. So I guess that means V8's are going back in time and getting slower also eh? You really need to get your head out of your ass and quit ASSuming just because we own V8's we're not aware of what else is out there. If anything, you're the one he needs to quit being closed minded about V8's. Do some research on the old tech, going backwards in time, pushrod LS1/LS6 V8 and my old tech quad cam 32v V8. You'd be amazed what you will learn.

all he is saying is that 4 cylinder technology has come a long way within the past few years, making it difficult for die hard v8 guys to believe that something with less than 2liters of displacement can keep up with their 400ci muscle machine that can yank the front wheels off the ground. v8 will always have more potential just due to the plain fact that power is made from air and fuel...and what can hold more a 1.8liter or 5.8liter???? its just a matter of motor efficiency versus weight

technology PERIOD has come a long way. V8, I6, I4, V10, V12 whatever. Then apply that tech to various chassis of varying weight and trannys with the appropriate gearing to match and you can make some stout combos.
But I do know on any given night at BMP you will see more V8s running great times in street cars than 4 cylinder vehicles. Cubes still rule on the street on average.

All i was saying is that there are hondas capable of keeping up with low 10 sec cars. Which i thought were the fastest around here on the street. I know V-8's rule the street. We get 750whp a V-8 can make 2,000hp who cares. All i'm saying by times are changing is 4 cylinders can keep up V-8's. Power to weight. This will be proven for your eyes in due time.
me too hehe
