so i'm on the veterans last night headed to my friend's house in westchase and i see a nice looking convertible mustang gt with a nice looking light bar.

a couple times i'm behind him and he guns it and i stay with him, so i'm figuring it's stock. i finally get next to him on a clear patch, get it in gear and i jump three or four times to let him know i wanna go. HE DOES NOTHING!!! so i just gun it and drive on my way. a couple minutes later i hear a car coming up and what do i see? a mustang doing a ricer fly by on me (probably doing 90-100; i'm going 75ish). i gun it and catch up with him when he gets stuck in traffic, but he weaves through and drives off.

i'd never run into a muscle car guy that would do a fly by, i thought you guys kept control over your group. all he needed was the flashers.

ok so let me get this straight...mustang guy doesnt want to run you...you go "fast" and get a bit ahead of him...and then he punches it out of the blue...having not raced you...and passes you a few minutes later doing 90....why does this sound more like you getting passed and not a ricer fly by?

i do 85-90 most the time on the interstate, am i a ricer now too if i pass you?

he wasn't driving 85-90, he was driving slowly (i initially caught up with him while driving 75ish). he gunned it a couple times and i kept pace with him, but he went back to going slow when i was ready to race him. then a couple minutes later he flys by me going much faster than before. it was a ricer fly-by, not driving fast.

 

us mullets have long gears, im only spinning like 2500 @ 85

and no that doesnt make me a ricer, weaving in and out of traffic and jumping in emergency lanes would.

 

meh, twas most likely a stock gt, i'd have beaten him and he probably knew it.
