your wrx better be alot faster that a stock wrx, i have seen a v6 mustang pull a wrx from a 70 mph roll so thats why im not sure i see it happening.

I pulled a few modded Mustangs from a roll when I had a boost controller and exhaust as my main mods.

v6 mustangs are garbage i wupped on them all day and this is when i was still all motor.Btw i was and still am automatic.

bwa ha ha ha, please i've pulled stock gt's plenty in my stock wrx. i said i think the gt was stock (for your earlier statement). and a 6cyl. stang? i could probably get out and run and i'd beat it.

so your telling me that a 227hp AWD car is going to pull a 260hp RWD car from a 70 mph roll???( you will kill it off the line yeah but its from a 70mph roll)

I would say that a stock GT and a stock WRX would be a lot better race from a roll then from a stop. Personally I was always a big fan of going from 40 because of the gearing in the WRX, from 70 the WRX would definately be at the disadvantage.

There is still the driver to factor into the equation. It could have been a bad driver in the stang that Moldyhands raced or it could have been a bad driver in the WRX that you saw race the V6 Mustang. I know I've watched Frances race a V6 Mustang in her '99 2.5RS, she pulled him from about a 65mph roll. And her car is rated at 165/165 from the factory.

i take 6 cyl mustangs in my hatchback easily. all i got is a sohc vtec with basic bolt ons. a wrx would kill a 6 cyl

i do agree with you on the bad driver in the wrx and the v6 had headers, intake and exhaust.

i remember pulling on a few GTs with exhaust when i had my WRX.. i wasnt stock.. but i wasnt trapping more than 98 in the quater either.. i'd believe a WRX pulling a GT if the GT driver wasnt on top of his game.
