Hello. It has been some time since I have been up your way. Had a blast this weekend. Here is the deal

Raced 01 Bird of Pray. He has a 01 Trans Am SC with NOS. Went from a 20 roll. 1320 feet ( 1/4 mile ) and the VIPER won.

Raced Al in His LS1 Camaro from a dead dig 1320 feet ( 1/4 mile ). Viper Won. Al is a great guy. I meet him a few year back. Nice race Al.

Raced the Green Nova ( Floyd & Monza Scott ) 1/4 mile 1320 feet. Viper Won again. There was a problem with this race is it was marked off 1520 feet so he got me by a bumper. @ the 1320 foot mark I had him by a few cars.

Floyd & Monza Scott with the green NOVA are shisters. I will NEVER race them again. Just ask around next Saterday when your out, ask what happend. I gave them a choice and thay took $$ over our friendship. There integrity can be bought for only $300. Wow thay come chep LOL Just plain sad. $$ changes peaple. But for $300, that is just chump change. Thay will NEVER get a race in S. Florida. Thay are not welcome down here.

Dadgum, Chris... I wish I would've made it out to see your car, but maybe next time. (By no means is this a call out, I don't have anything for you, probably not even if I had my 900RR. ) It sucks that you got screwed over by Floyd and Scott, too. Who measured the 1320 at 1520? That's unsat!!

 

does not sound like you had much of a friendship. If $300 is all it takes consider a cheap price to find out the truth.

Chris, you earned the right to brag, by DRIVING up here and taking out two pretty legit cars. I would have been added to your kill list as well, had I bit on your offer. The whole knife at a gun fight scenario kept my ego in check, and my wallet safe. Maybe next time.
I realize you feel like you got took by these guy's (Floyd & Scott), and not knowing them either, or really you for that matter, it could seem like you were duped. I am just not so sure that is really what happened, those marks from what I understand have been there for a very long time, and it has been accepted that is a 1/4 mile. We certainly know different now. I would have personally liked to see a "do over" with a refund untill then, and am dissapointed that it appears not to be that way at all. I also see their point--the race length WAS agreed on, and Floyd did win THAt race. Was it the length that you or anyone else thought it was? No. I know I too would have assumed it to be 1/4 mile, and I would like to believe they thought it was too. Maybe not, but I don't know that for sure. Can't really see anyone doing that on purpose against a car like yours, the school of thought I think would be to shorten the distance, sure as hell would not elongate the 1/4!!

THAT BS aside, looking forward to seeing you guy's again. Thanks for the ass whoopins, come again.

 

Me and a friend.....We measured it 3 times in a Lexus IS300 that is STOCK. Hit .3 on the trip right at the sign that was designated the finish line. The difference between .25 and .3 miles is 264 feet. That means the said "quarter mile" race was actually 1580 feet. A second car measured and the trip turned .3 25 feet after the sign, which is an acceptable margin of error for two different cars.

Looks like I missed it all yet again!

The race with Floyd seems to be taking on 2 different sides, one guy says it was . 25 miles & the other . 3 miles, who marked the bloody start stop line out anyway?

Al, your car has some serious amount of TQ. You need to get that bad boy setup to where you can lay the power down (I watched you race the 01 T/A & when you hit it, your car was all over the place, i honestly thought you was going to loose it), that's why Chris is beating all of us, he has his car down pat, it's NOT power that's winning, it's his setup, if you asked him to run from a 50 MPH roll, hell say NO, HP & TQ. win roll races, (a good driver, suspension & power win dead dig races)

From the look of it, when he raced the T/A (at least from the Video I saw), he has superb launching as well as a nice smooth power transition, there is ZERO wheel spin, if you can plant 600 + or whatever HP #'s he has to the ground, you'll pull on an 800 HP wheel spinning car ALL DAY LONG. Sure, the high HP car will catch up in the end, but by then, the race is over!

Like I said once before, you will have to be able to hook up to win any races with Chris, he's asked me not to mention any specifics on his car, so I will not, but I will say this, if you have 8-9-1000 HP, and you can't hook, you're going to loose.

Limey...your telling me...I was IN the car..lol
But that was a learning experiance for me. And gathered alot of info. I will be making some changes next time out.

Chris your car is incredible...the consistency is just unbelievable. It hooks n the first few feet and due to the tall gear has a nice loooong pull through first that is very hard to match.
Next time we will do it again....and if you let me know ahead of time...mt wallet wont be so empty this time (even emptier after you left, lol)
