i have a 98 jetta. its a 2.0 with an aftermarket kit on it, running a T3/T4 turbo. wondering what size injectors i need to run 25psi. not sure what size is in it now. when i bought it i was told that injectors where the only thing left to do to get to 25psi of boost

 

Injector sizing is not dependent on boost pressure so much as its dependent on the amount of power you're trying to make. Do you have a hp level in mind?

 

sry for the slow response time been really busy during the holidays. well im not sure about the power, i guess the best thing to do now is get it dyno'd to see where its at now at 10 lbs. it seems that when i tryed to push more boost than 10lbs it would break up really bad, but i believe that was because of a damaged ingnition coil wire( i removed it yesterday when just checking things and the end of it just disintegrated). thank you for the response tho, this is my first VW and im just tryin to learn the ins and outs of the car.

 

Yeah its hard to be able to suggest an injector size based strictly off boost. Lets put it this way, if you want say 250whp from the 2.0, Id suggest an injector around the 42lb/440cc range.

I would be curious as to what software you are running... Also what other modifications do you have besides the turbo. Shoot 25psi is lot if you don't have supporting mods...
