injector ?

injector ?
hard to tell in the pic, part of the black part around the tip is missing. do i really need this on the injector? does it affect the spray pattern? thanks dee

I had the same problem, searched and searched and all of the threads I read said the same thing. That it in no way shape or form effects spray pattern but if is is chipped/cracked, remove it all the way so it doesn't end up in the motor.

I took it completely off all 4 of my injectors, and have had NO problems at all...
