ok lets start i have a 90 gti 1.8 it was running perfectly fine til a few days that it die on me which it did cuz the alternator was loose and it just drain the bat down ....i fix that got a new bat....but now the car would not strat IT HAS SPARK, ITS HAS FUEL OR ATLEAST IS PREP WHEN EVER I HIT THE SWITCH , TIMING IS GOOD , SPARK PLUGS R NEW, HAS GAS LOL IT CRANKS BUT IT JUST WOUL NOT START .........I EVEN TRY WITH STARTED FLUID TRU THE INTAKE AND NOTHING .....I HAVE PRETTY GOOD KNOWLEDGE WITH CARS BUT IM JUTS STUCK DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE COULD BE.......MAYBE ECU....I NEED SOME OPINIONS.....OR IDEAS PLSSSSS I DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO TRY OR THINK OF ......

 

check your sensors knock sensor ect

 

air leak. cis no likey

 

 

car doesnt have a crank/knock sensor....i already check that...no vac leaks...just a lil oil leak that has nothing to do with the car not turning on......any other ideas lol

 

anyone else with vw with knowledge....

 

hmmm this one is a tricky one. well you say it has new spark plugs but are they sparking?

 

YES IT DOES SPARK......I NEED THEM EXPERTS IN VW LMAO I GUESS cuz even regulars mechanics they stay like huh????????? lol

 

lol well if you want i have a fully rebuilt 1.8 8v for sale and you could just swap motors.

 

i guess noone else have no more ideas
