Honestly a mild built bottom 1.8 turbo is very light. I had a mk2 GTI with one that handled amazing.

MY .02 is do a 1.8 and suspension work.

i lookd up the g60 and some people say they break down to much,can i just tak da superchargeturbo off the carrado,how ever you spell it,and slap it on mine?

o and i found a 91 mk2 rallye g60 8v AWD!!THEY SAY THEY ONLY MADE 71 OF THE MODLES!...only thang its in germany..

WHAT YALL THINK BOUT CONVERTING MINE AWD?would it be hard?

For autocrossing, I would get a G60 long block, convert it to turbo, keep the digi-1, get a sns chip and make 250 or so at the wheels for a very reasonable cost.

As for an AWD conversion, I'd pass. Way too much cost and work involved for not much benefit.

G60 longblocks are very tough. ^^^ follow this advice. Ditch the SC.
You won't be disappointed.

k.ima go with the long block g60!!.....but......i cant find any anywhere unless there in a car,and THAX BisquitMan AND Boostin'Xr4.SO FUCK THE VR6?CAN YOU GUYS GIVE ME THE YEAR AND MODLE OF THIS G60 LONG BLOCK
