Default Audi 1.8t - Boost presure issue?

So... my check engine light has been coming on intermittently and the turbo turns off sporadically. It seams to engage random while the light is on.

I plugged my laptop into it and pulled these codes:

17956 - Boost Pressure Regulation Valve (N75): Open Circuit
P1548 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

17536 - Fuel Trim; Bank 1 (Mult): System too Lean
P1128 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

I do have some octane booster in the tank, but I've never had a problem with it before. Without it, the motor seem to knock and will not exceed about 4500 rpm.

What do I do to fix the code and make it run correctly? I dunno a whole lot about Audi engines or turbos, but I'm mechanically inclined.

Your turbo doesn't turn off. You have a boost leak, most likely at the diverter valve.

this is the more common issue... replace the n75 then see how it runs

I'm going to look for leaks first, cause the OEM valve is $100. I'm thinking about this one instead of OEM...

ECS Tuning::engine::1.8T/2.7T::RACE N75 Valve

Anyone know if there's an easy of telling if I have a 180hp or 225hp motor? I was told by someone at the dealer that it is a 225, but I'm not sure if he knows what he's talking about. The stock chip has been adjusted to the highest boost it will allow, so i can't really tell by driving it.

All the hoses seem to be in good condition and connections are tight. I guess I'm buying a n75 valve.

That's what I thought, but I was told by an audi mechanic that that's not true. I've also read that the 180's have a single intercooler in the wheel well... The 225's supposedly have two intercoolers. Mine is fairly large and spans the entire front opening (center).
