Hey there. Glad to see you found this site. Not many VW people on there unfortunately. As far as I know there isnt a VW hangout around here (Bradenton that is). Maybe we should start one. I wouldnt mind having something to do locally. And the car club is starting to piss me off.

Did one of you guys try calling me this week?

John1552----Good to see another VW come aboard! To answer your question we just havent had the amount of VW traffic in here to have a meet. Hopefully well rwach that point quickly! Fortunately for us all the imports as well as thew domestics get along! We generally meet at Miami subs and head out from there. If you have any questions just drop me a line!

Joe - I tried calling you about the Integra in DC. Its a friend of mine. Her husband has a Jetta we did some work to.

NosExtreme - Ive been there a few times. Too many cops not enough space. I was there with my Jetta and my friends wide-body GTI.

97CavyZ24 - Thats VolkswagEn

AcmeVR6 - A friend of mine with a hybrid Honda lured us out to some open roads this past Saturday after everyone left Miami Subs. Watched one race then a Police helicopter came out and chased us away. We spent the rest of the night driving around looking for more races. Finally gave up at 4:30am.

The Scene is so much different down here. When I lived in DC it was Honda vs VW vs Nissan vs Ford vs Yugo etc. Its so much nicer to see everyone getting along.

Well at least you knew the guy in the Integra. But still the sticker on a Acura?

I should email you with my work number as I dont get home till after 5:30p and you guys are probably gone by then.

Ask Brad if he was on Siesta Drive on Sunday afternoon. I was one car back from a blue cabby with big rims. I couldnt tell if it was him or not.

Joe - That was Brad. I havent seen any other Supercharged VR6 Cabrios with 17 Porsche wheels running around here Well be taking off the supercharger soon to put on the turbo. Hes not happy with less than 300hp.

Gone by 5:30? Never. Steve and I are usually here til midnight taking care of things.

I forgot to tell you I cracked my oil pan over the weekend. Damn VW and their aluminum oil pans! I should have a new one here today. Be cautious on the side roads between Osprey and Tamiami. Nice deep dip before a manhole.

Since my front spoiler is about 1.5 from the ground I had to take off my front bumper to get the car on the flatbed. The tow truck driver was really cool and careful. He even had 2x4s to help get the car up the ramp.
