Default New Fox

Hi guys i have a few questions for you. My GF currently lives in Venezuela, She bought a new fox, the thing is ment for europe and latin america only. Recently she went to get her oil changed and they wanted to charge her 100$. And she couldn't do it in any other place because the vw dealer won't sell the filter to anyone. So my question is someone told me that most vw take the same oil filter, i found that hard to belive. Her engine is a EA-111 if it means anithing to you guys. I just wanted to know if I could buy a bunch of filters here sosomebody else or i could do her oil change.

thanks in advance
H.R.

Don't bother asking in the Fox forum. That forum is for the old Fox. The new Fox is the replacement for the Lupo. As far as what filter it would take, no clue. I would try to find a UK VW forum and ask on there since they should have some experience with that car.

Ya, UK. That motor will match Polo 1.6 and some Golf 1.6 Total-Flex motors. I would even try parts search for the Skoda EA-111-4Cyl.
