It runs fine than about 5 minutes into the drive it overheats?
Anthing any one can think of that will make this do it..

Does the radiator fan come on? If the fan doesn't come on hook up a battery to it. If it still doesn't come on you need a new fan motor. If it did come on with the battery then you need a new switch/relay.
If the fan comes on when it is supposed to then check the thermostat. It might be stuck closed or doesn't fully open. If the thermostat is fine then it looks like a water pump.

I know on my 16v it is where the lower radiator hose attaches to the water pump. I think it's the same on the 2.slow, but don't hold me to it.

I am guessing it wouldn't be the radiator fan if it overheats while driving. The airflow from driving should be enough to keep the car cool.
if it's not caused by what's mentioned, it could be plugged from mineral deposits. i've had two dubs that overheated due to it. a lubro moly flush with a refill of distilled water and g12 solved the problem on one. the other had to have the radiator replaced from buildup. from experience, waterwetter always left a chalky film. i think it's mainly meant to be used with straight water with religious intervals.
