For a 16 megapixel camera you should get sharper photos than that!

That's a great setup. When I was all motor, I saw 209whp on race gas with only a 2.9. Not many differences besides the displacement and I ran 276's. I'd expect to see atleast 215whp on pump gas with that setup. What kind of EMS are you running? Please don't tell me Motronic and a chip!

Im still running my Upsolute chip for now. Once I get some more cash, Ill take the ECU back out and have EIP put their 3.1L chip in it. Id like to dyno before and after the chip to see if the EIP chip is doing what its supposed to.

 

Good call. I like the things that EIP sells, but sometimes you have to wonder. There's a guy here in Tampa that has an r32 with an EIP stg 1 (which claims to be around 350whp). He sent it to EIP where they installed and tuned the entire system. It looks amazing. The install looks almost stock and the car runs as smooth as stock. The problem is that it only put down 271whp on dyno day. There was no fan for the intercooler and when i spoke to him he said a plug was fouled. Still, that wouldn't account for an almost 80whp loss Regardless, the system looks awesome and i hope he figured it all out.

 

Wow, that is a pretty big difference. I can see a problem with buying tuning software from them. I dont mean this as degrading for them b/c they are a great company, but theyre tuning in a different atmosphere than us(as in altitude). Im sure this plays a key factor, especially with a turbo setup.

I dont really know what to expect from their NA chips but Ive been fairly happy with the Upsolute chip. The question is whether it will work well with the 3.1L. Ill be answering that question in a few days.
