lol, it's more improper maintenance by the previous owner. The allen bolt is stripped, so when I removed the oil filter cover via the 36mm socket and got an oil bath.... it was fun. The 6mm allen bolt is used to drain the oil out of the filter, right?
Also, some jack ass put a 3/4 oil drain plug in the pan. The thread pitch is correct, but the head size is wrong.

my allen got stripped from the previous owner as well. i had to replace most of the commonly maitenanced metric bolts. i just loosen the housing and let most of the oil drain and bring the rest of it down after. i wonder if they had any metric tools, too.
