If I were doing a brake upgrade, I would go with ferodo.

I had ds3000 (Ferodo) on the corrado. They are a pure race pad so it took a while for them to warm up on the street, but were great at Sebring... mucho dust. I recommend ds2500 as a street pad. The 2500's are also dusty, but are a great pad. Oh, and don't forget to change your brake fluid.

I had a rotor eating problem with my Mintex Red Box pads. I changed everything out at 80,000 miles and the pads still looked new. Great street pad.
